Chocolate lab puppies born June 29th, 2011 out of our Misty and Chief. Please see their individual pages for photos and descriptions of Misty and Chief. We are now accepting deposits for these puppies. Only 1 males and 1 female still available as of 9/10/2011 New Photos at the bottom of the page!

We started feeding them blended puppy food earlier than we normally would at our vet's recommendation. Misty is doing a great job with them, but feeding so many puppies is really keeping her thinner than we'd like. The puppies surprised us by taking to the food at 2 1/2 weeks old like old pros. They all get right in there and eat until they literally fall asleep in the middle of the food dish.

3 week photos

The puppies ventured outside for the first time today for a photo shoot. We made sure they had a nice play in the water dish and long drink before going out in the shade to play. The puppies are really getting into playing with each other. They chew on each other's ears, feet and tails and bark and growl at each other.

They are already coming over to us as soon as they see us. The puppy's teeth are coming in so they will soon be moving from blended food to soaked food. They enjoy not only drinking their water, but also laying in it and patting it with their feet. The puppy to the left was not pleased with us for taking him to a new place and one that was so hot as well. He stuck that little nose up and just howled.

The puppies all have colored collars now. The puppies are begging for attention and to be held. Every puppy is getting some hands on time each day.We are also starting to see some personalities show up and expect to see more each day. Observations about personality traits are added to the Face book page weekly also.

All the puppies are starting to really enjoy the puppy toys that they have in their pen now. We will be adding more new toys soon. They also spend quite a bit of time wrestling with each other.

Today the puppies all got to run outside for just a little while and it was their 1st real time to run and explore they all enjoyed the play time and napped the afternoon away after wearing themselves out playing outside.

Week 6 Photos

All 12 puppies got their 1st set of shots, microchipped,wormed and vet inspected Saturday. All puppies are doing well and growing a little bit everyday.

Week 6 photos On the left we have the purple collar girl and on the right we have Mira. Purple girl is one of the 3 largest girls where as Mira on the right is one of smaller girls.

On the left we have the pink girl probably the biggest girl of the litter but not by much.On the right is the light purple girl who is about the same size as Mira.

Yellow collar girl on the left medium sized and pinkcamo on the right is one of the 3 biggest girls.

We did not get photos of the boys done today, the picking started on the boys today with several visitors and they were worn out after all the playtime.

As of Sunday the14th we have one boy and 3 girls left. The choosing started today with the boys and we are waiting on the 1st pick of the girls to make there decision. Black & Red collar boys have been chosen. We will try and do boy photos later this week. All 4 boys that are spoken for will be chosen by next weekend. We have 3 girls left at this time.

Puppies available are Yellow boy, Pink Girl and Yellow Girl. New photos below! The puppies are now 8 weeks old all have had 1 set of shots, micro chipped and have been wormed twice. 2nd set of shots is planned for next weekend they will also be looked over by our vet at that time. All puppies have been introduced to water and all puppies are playing fetch with us for short periods of time.

Last but not least here is Pink collar girl. She has turned in to a go getter in the last week or two. She has grown quite a bit in the last couple of weeks. She is bigger than the yellow girl and was one of the largest girls in the litter. She's very active and likes the attention but would rather be playing chase with her sisters. Very active and not afraid of new situations, she also posed very nicely for photos this morning.

Pink is one of the larger females from this litter she is slightly independent and will go and go but will check back with us occasionally for some attention. She's going to be a good looking girl when fully grown and a large one judging from the size of her paws.

Here is Candi, She got her name this week as she is the only puppy we have left from Misty & Chief's litter born June 29th. Candi is still wearing her pink collar. Candi is a go getter but now that she doesn't have her brothers and sisters to compete with is really starting to enjoy laptime. Candi has started house training this weekend.
