. All puppies from Ginny & Wyatt are sold now. Our next planned breeding will be later this summer with River. If you are interested in more information about our next litter of Chocolates then please e-mail or give us a call.

Here are some 6 week photos taken this weekend on the 2nd. To the left is Purple. She is an average size girl that tends to look just like Ginny. She has a sleeker dark chocolate coat. She is very loving and tends to think about things before jumping right in. We call her our poser as we get some great photos of her as she tends to pause for just a second or two.

To the right is Pink and Pink Camo. Pink Camo is the largest female and Pink is the smallest female. Pink Camo is usully the first one picked up because she is always begging for attention and is usually the first one to the edge of the puppy pen so she tends to get her way.

Pink on the left has made great strides this week she has went from being small to almost as big as purple at 6 weeks. She is very loving and for a small girl gives as good as she gets.

On the right is Red. She doesn't seem to have any fear and jumps right in to the middle of everything before thinking about it. She is aways busy but does like to crawl up on our shoulders for some love. Getting her to stay still is hard to do as you can see from her photo. We believe that Red is the Alpha Female in this litter. She is sometimes rough and tumble but does have a gentle side also.

We have 1 female left from this litter and are just waiting on picks which will start next Saturday the 8th. We will hopefully know by Sunday which female is left. If you are interested please call us and we have more photos available and will take photos on request. All the puppies have had 1st set of shots and have been microchipped, wormed and vet checked on May the 2nd.

Blue boy is on the left. He's the smaller boy but not by much. He weighed in at 10.3 lbs at his vet visit on Saturday. Camo on the left weighed in at 12.0 lbs. With Camo being the largest in the litter. He's going to look just like Wyatt when full grown and reminds us of Gus from the last litter. Blue is catching up and is just about as tall as Camo just isn't quite as heavy. Both boys are going to be large when full grown. Both boys love to play and Camo has taken a liking to stuffed animals. Blue carried around sticks today at his outside playtime. Both boys are spoken for.

Below are 3 more photos taken at 6 weeks. Enjoy!

4 week old photos

The puppies are now eating a blended puppy food and water mixture about 4 times a day. They moved to their larger pen in our attached garage today. This gives the puppies more space to move around and explore. They will be given a few puppy toys this week also. They are all cutting their back teeth and really want to chew on our fingers and each other constantly.

These 2 photos are of the pink and pink camo puppies. Pink is our smallest and pink camo is one of the two largest in the litter. Both seem fairly easy going at this point. Neither seems overly shy, but they also don't seem rambunctious at this point either. Pink seems content to nap on our shoulders when we hold her and pink camo is more apt to wiggle around before settling in.

These 2 photos are of the purple and red collar puppies. These females are both very outgoing and full of spunk. The red collar was our first and only to escape the puppy pen in our living room. Once she learned how to escape she used that knowledge often! She comes toddling over every time we go near the pen. She loves to be held and cuddled and is big on giving puppy kisses. The purple collar girl has no fear. She likes to sit by the edge of the pen and sit nose to nose with the big dogs. She licks their faces and isn't opposed to barking at them if they aren't paying attention to her. Both of these puppies are already good at looking you right in the eye.

These photos are of our male puppies. Camo collar male is the largest puppy in the litter and is exceptionally big. He's only slightly larger than pink camo girl. They both are so large they often appear to waddle as they walk. Camo still "talks" a lot and if he's away from the group which he seems to be often, we sure hear about it. He often sleeps on his own away from the typical pile of sleeping puppies. The blue collar boy is still a cuddler and will sleep as long as you'll hold him. He likes to cuddle up under your chin and then eventually rolls over for a tummy rub.

All our puppies are doing well. 2 are very large and are quickly outgrowing the rest of the litter. Both of our larger puppies are also slightly lighter in color than the others. One larger puppy is a female and one is a male. All of the puppies are starting to open their eyes and some have their eyes almost completely open. They are starting to stand up instead of just scooting on their tummies. Most are starting to take a wobbly step or two before toppling over and resorting to scooting again. Ginny is a terrific mama. She's feeding them almost constantly and keeping a close eye on them, but also lets us have the joy of holding and cuddling them as often as we want. They're still so young that they snuggle right in and fall asleep when we pick them up so they are getting held quite a lot right now.

These 2 photos are of our bigger 2 girls. One is average size and the other is very large.

These 2 photos are of our two petite girls. They are healthy and eager for each meal, but just slightly smaller than the other puppies. These 2 girls are also our darkest puppies and have very sleek shiny coats. One of these smaller girls seems to be having a growth spurt the last day or two so we'll be interested to see if she catches up with some of her siblings in size in the next week.
These are our males. The larger one is fairly vocal if he happens to scoot away from the rest of his littermates. He also prefers to wiggle around and sniff all over when we hold him before he snuggles in for a nap. The other male is average size and very easy going. He's already showing a liking for tummy rubs and often rolls over when we hold him for a little tummy rub before falling asleep.

Chocolate puppies have finally arrived. 4 females and 2 males were born Sunday March 21st. All puppies look great and have already been to the vet to be checked and have the dewclaws removed. Only 1 female available at this time. Please call us for more details on this breeding and see more photos of the past Wyatt & Ginny Litter.

More photos coming soon.

To the left and right is Wyatt. Wyatt was sired by BigValley’s Costa-lot Shaddow FTCH-AFTCH who was sired by Pachanga Magnum Force.  Wyatt’s dam is Hunts Jami Star-Brown JH.  Wyatt weighs 90-95 pounds and has his HRCH title in HRC and his MH title in AKC.  So before the age of 3 Wyatt got all 3 top 3 hunt titles in AKC, HRC, and NAHRA. Wyatt's stud information is available at www.whiskeyriverlabs.com

Ginny’s sire is Marsh-Mutt Boot Scootin Cuda, MH (OFA Hip Excellent, Eye CERF), her grand-sire was FC-AFC-CFC-CAFC Barracuda Blue, MH. Cuda was the only FC-AFC and high point All-Age chocolate lab in AKC field trial history, and all amateur handled.  He was also the first and only chocolate labrador to qualify for the National Amateur Field Trials in ’96 and ’97. Ginny has photos on her page link to the left.

We are expecting puppies about March 20th 2010. Pregnancy has been confirmed by sonogram on 2/20/10. This breeding in the past has produced some large beautiful chocolates that are smart with a keen sense of what their owners are asking of them. Our River is from the first Wyatt & Ginny breeding. Deposits being accepted at this time to hold your pick. Please call us for availability of puppies or to be on the waiting list.
